Cazalla Intercultural is a local NGO located in Lorca, Murcia, in the South East of Spain, registered in 2007, but started to function in 2001 as youth association of Cazalla
The mission of our team of professionals is “To promote active citizenship, social inclusion, youth mobility, voluntary service, sustainable development, stand up for human rights, integration, non-discrimination and against gender-based violence, through non-formal education, youth information and international cooperation.
Our work is structured in 4 main fields : Voluntary service, Capacity Building, International cooperation in the field of youth and Local youth work.
Pro European Network
The Pro European Network is an non-profit organisation, based in Sofia, Bulgaria, which works for strengthening democratic practices and effective fulfilment of Human Rights by promoting participatory approaches. The organisation works to support local communities and in particular young people, as well as to offer quality training and educational forms, connected to Human Rights, social inclusion, countering discrimination and gender equality. In its work Pro European Network strives to engage disadvantaged groups with focus on the Roma community and other ethnic minorities, sexual minorities, young people from low-income families, young people as a rule excluded from the activities.
REDU stands for Rete educare ai diritti umani (Human rights education network). It is a non-profit organisation, registered in 2007, but started to function as informal Group of practitioners in 2001. Its legal seat is in Latina and its operational office in Florence - Italy. The mission of the organisation is to promote social solidarity. The association promotes also HRE, in Italy and abroad, in order to contribute to the active development of a responsible citizenship and a culture of peace.
Our main field of actions are: Education and Training on Human Rights and Human Rights Education for young people and practitioners, teachers and trainers; activism coordinating - in Tuscany area - the No Hate Speech Movement; Evaluation of educational processes and projects which deal with Human Rights subjects; Creation and translation of human rights educational materials and manuals.
Association for Children and Young People CHANCE (Stowarzyszenie dla Dzieci i Mlodziezy SZANSA) is a non-profit NGO acting mainly on local and regional levels. It aims at providing children and young people with services supporting their development and acting against all forms of violence and discrimination. There are some 150 young people taking part in the activities of the organization each week – young people come from very different backgrounds: ethnic minorities (Roma), disabled young people, young people coming from dysfunctional families. Its main areas of activities include: Education, Youth work and youth policy, Local system of supporting victims of violence, and Publications.
The staff of the association consist of 24 youth workers, social workers, psychologists, lawyers and other professionals. Some 30 youth volunteers organise youth activities together with youth workers. Association is a member of the Human Rights Education Youth Network, a European platform for youth NGOs using human rights education in youth work.
